The best educational websites will be named by the Web Marketing Association in the 26th annual WebAward competition

Boston, MA, April 07, 2022 — (PR.com) — The Web Marketing Association is looking for the world’s best educational websites in its 26th annual WebAward international competition for web development at www.webaward.org. The WebAwards are the standards-setting competition that sets benchmarks for 96 industries, including education, schools, and college websites, based on the seven criteria for a successful website. The deadline for educational websites to enter to be judged is May 31, 2022.

“The education industry is very competitive when it comes to web development and needs to be so because of the expectations of its young consumers,” said William Rice, president of the Web Marketing Association. “Education websites tend to target young people and their parents. Today’s students have grown up with the Internet and expect to be impressed by an educational institution. »

Education websites are judged on seven criteria, including design, innovation, content, technology, interactivity, writing, and ease of use. Each WebAward entry in the Education category is judged against other entries in the field of education and then against an overall standard of excellence.

All education participants benefit from valuable feedback in terms of specific criteria scores compared to their industry average scores. They may also receive specific feedback from the professional WebAward judges on their website development efforts.

WebAward winners in the education categories will also receive:
Beautiful statue or certificate of achievement
Increased visibility for their business
Marketing opportunity to promote company website to media
Links to your site from the highly ranked WebAward site to help with SEO
· A highlight for your resume.
Admiration from peers, friends and colleagues

Each year, the Web Marketing Association names the best in the industry for different education categories based on the score they receive from WebAward judges.
