NMC Asks All Medical Schools To Provide Vital Information On Their Websites | Pondicherry News

PUDUCHERRY: The National Medical Commission (NMC) Medical Assessment and Rating Board (Marb) ordered all medical schools across the country to post college information on their NMC-related websites by December 17.
All colleges are requested to download the information in the format prescribed by the commission, specifies a circular dated December 13 published by the commission.
The commission said it is mandatory for every college to post information in the public domain. Once the information is published, it will not be modified or deleted. However, it can be updated periodically.
Colleges must provide information on the year of its establishment and the date and year of registration of the hospital, the date of the first letter of authorization from MBBS and the number of places, recognition status and the number of MBBS and PG students in major specialty and super specialty admitted in a session.
Colleges must also provide information on the number of beds, the number of emergency beds, inpatients and admitted and outpatients registered in the past three years, the number of births and deaths reported in the past three years. recent years to local agencies, cell numbers of Dean / Principal / Director, Grievance Officer and their e-mail credentials, among others.
Colleges must provide the list of faculty members, details of their service over the past five years, qualification, title, IMR number, nature of employment (CDI or contract) and number of courses follow-ups per year and subjects dealt with. The commission asked colleges to update faculty member contact information for each new semester / academic year on October 1 of each year.
